FAQ

  • If you have any scan reports or imaging results (MRI, X-ray, ultrasound), please bring these with you.
  • For assessment purposes, we recommend wearing shorts for lower limb injuries and a vest or sports top for upper limb or neck issues, so movement and mechanics can be properly assessed.
  • Changing facilities are available on site.

Yes — there is typically a 1–3 week wait for appointments.

If you have an acute injury, an upcoming competition, or feel your issue needs urgent assessment (e.g. a recent sprain, suspected muscle tear, or injury requiring onward referral), please contact us via the contact form. You may

be added to the cancellation list for the upcoming week where appropriate.

  •  Initial assessments: 45–60 minutes

Follow-up sessions: approximately 45 minutes

Longer sessions are available where clinically appropriate, particularly for complex rehab or return-to-sport progressions.

This will depend upon your diagnosis. Your physiotherapist will discuss this with you at your initial assessment and give you a guide as to how many treatments would be beneficial to you- we do NOT see you more than is necessary.

We work almost exclusively with training and competitive athletes.

No — we do not accept private medical insurance at this clinic.

However, some cashback policies (e.g. Healthshield, Simply Health, or similar) allow you to claim physiotherapy costs up to a set amount. We can provide a receipt after payment for you to submit to your provider.

Payment is made after each session via debit card or cash.
If you are claiming through a cashback policy, payment is still made at the session and a receipt is provided for reimbursement.

Physiotherapy is most effective when you are:

  • Actively training or aiming to return to training
  • Willing to exercise and progressively load tissue
  • Interested in long-term solutions, not just short-term symptom relief

If your goal is to return to sport, train consistently, and reduce the risk of recurring injuries, physiotherapy is likely a good fit. If you are unsure whether your situation fits this model, please review Who We Work With before

booking or contact us directly.

This Clinic Is a Good Fit If You:

  • Are currently training or competing in sport
  • Are returning to training following injury
  • Have access to gym-based or structured exercise
  • Want an active, exercise-led rehabilitation approach
  • Have clear performance or return-to-sport goals

This Clinic May Not Be the Right Fit If You:

  • Are not currently involved in training or sport
  • Are seeking general physiotherapy care
  • Prefer passive treatment only
  • Do not plan to engage in structured exercise

This service is designed for endurance athletes who want a structured rehab plan with flexibility.

You begin by booking an in-person assessment, which includes:

  • A full clinical and performance assessment
  • Initial treatment where appropriate
  • A bespoke online rehabilitation programme

At that appointment, we’ll discuss how you’d like the ongoing support to look.

This may include:

  • In-person physiotherapy sessions
  • Gym-based strength or rehab sessions
  • Online programming and independent training with remote support

The model is flexible and adapts to your training schedule, competition calendar, and location — while maintaining
clear structure and progression.
